g is great for teaching the foundations of jump work for 2 reasons: Firstly, the weight of the holee roller at the bottom means that the whilst the handler runs, the tug will stay static. This means that the dog does not have to search for a tug that is waving around, giving your dogs a solid target to aim for. Secondly, it teaches the dog to aim for the bottom of the tug , as that’s where the target is. This teaches the dog to run low through the jumps.
